About Julia
My name is Julia and I am a soon-to-be master's degree holder at Sciences Po's Paris School of International Affairs, graduating in just a few months with a degree in International Governance and Diplomacy and a concentration in Global Risks! I started getting into politics and current events when I was just 15 years old and extremely curious. Now, one of my favorite things about being a student is being able to discuss intellectual ideas and hold debates about everything that pertains to everyone. Politics is all-encompassing and it may be impacting you more than you actually realize! I am American originally, having lived on both east and west coast (west coast is definitely better, in my opinion!) and have also lived in Paris and Croatia. I love traveling and have met so many different people with different perspectives. In my free time, besides traveling, I like to do my own political research and writing, Pilates and yoga, singing and dancing, and cooking. I look forward to meeting you all!

I tend to approach teaching those in my life from a holistic comprehension perspective. I like to be able to help people really connect all different information they have received in their classes to make one overall comprehension and view of the world.
As a tutor, I am much more oriented towards helping and guiding my students to make their own conclusions centered around the basics of facts, knowledge, and good political debate. I keep my personal views out of it. If you have a question that I do not know much about, I will do all of the research I can and get back to you. My favorite part of tutoring is that I constantly get to learn from you all as well!
The lessons can be for anyone and everyone wishing to learn a bit more about politics and what is going on in the world. All ages welcome!
