I myself am a scholar who has to continuously learn things. I, therefore, believe in the guided-discovery method which is a student-driven approach to learning. This helps the students retain knowledge. I usually expect my students to be as much involved in the planning as learning. This not only allows me to fit the curriculum exactly to the students' needs but also see the areas covered by the students.
