About Catuxa
I'm a native Spanish speaker, from Colombia and raised in Spain, which makes me aware of both the Castilian Spanish and the Latin American Spanish vocabulary and common sayings. As well as a Spanish tutor I'm an actress and performer with a deep passion for all forms of art including language literature music and poetry which are elements I try to incorporate in my teaching method as well. I come from a family that works in education, having been raised so close to this environment I've seen how much gaining some new knowledge can have an impactful effect on someone's life and how much fun and excitement can come from it as well which made me develop a passion for teaching and sharing my knowledge with others.

My conversational approach integrates vocabulary and grammar seamlessly, helping you understand sentence formation better. My lessons are fun and dynamic based around speaking, listening and reading, I want to teach my students how to fluently communicate in Spanish on a day-to-day basis. I believe each student wants to learn English for a different purpose and this is precisely why I adjust the contents of my lessons to the goals of my students so they can achieve their goals efficiently.
