Approachable & Mentor-Style (Best for High School students)
My Approach: Science can be intimidating, but it doesn't have to be! I strive to create a relaxed and supportive environment where no question is "too stupid." I focus on building confidence by identifying exactly where a student is stuck—whether it's genetics, cell biology, or statistics—and finding a new way to explain it that clicks for them. I combine traditional teaching with digital tools (like simple coding in Python) to demonstrate how modern biology works.

Who I Teach: I teach students from High School (NCEA Levels 1-3) up to University level. Whether you are struggling to pass or aiming for Excellence endorsements, I tailor the pace to suit you.

Experience: As a current postgraduate student at UoA, I know exactly what markers are looking for. I have successfully navigated the transition from high school to advanced research, and I want to share the study techniques and "hacks" that helped me achieve an A-grade average in my Master's papers.
