About Cheyenne
I have a Masters of Professional Science in Marine Conservation Biology, a Bachelor of Science in Biology, and a minor in Geographic Information Systems. During my undergraduate years, I was a member of the Tri-Beta Biology Honor Society where we offered free tutoring to college students and hosted outreach/education events to younger children. During my graduate years, I was a teaching assistant to two graduate environmental law courses. My background consists of extensive education experience, and my degrees provide me with the needed knowledge to assist other people in a variety of areas of science.

The first thing I would do is review the materials from the class that is being taken. I take into account multiple learning styles and try to gear the lessons to the student's preference. I try to use a mixture of media to assist in the learning process. I have worked with students from middle school all the way to college students. I have also assisted students in a professional and non-professional setting, so I have a variety of teaching styles that I have used over the years. My college degrees have allowed me to gain expertise in many areas of science and some areas of math.
