I'm a VFX technical artist with 8 years of experience creating stunning visuals for dozens of major Hollywood feature films and high end TV series.

I've worked at Framestore bringing directors' visions to life through advanced shading, lighting, and lookdev work.

About the lesson

Lookdev & Shading (My Specialty):

- Physically-based rendering (PBR) principles and real-world material behavior
- Creating realistic materials: metals, fabrics, organic surfaces, volumetrics
- Shader network architecture and calibration techniques
- Developing shader templates and recipes for production
- Understanding what makes good textures work well in shaders
- Lighting strategies for material presentation

I believe in learning by doing. We'll work on practical projects that build your portfolio while teaching fundamental skills. I'll show you my professional workflow, explain my decision-making process, and help you develop your own systematic approach to problem-solving.
