About Olivia
Can we identify exactly where your playing currently stands before we map out your future goals? I conduct a diagnostic skills check before building the lesson plan to ensure every minute counts.
This initial assessment allows me to see where we need to strengthen your foundation or expand your creative range. Drawing upon my 13 years of experience, I integrate professional conservatoire habits into our hobbyist sessions.
We will examine your technique while keeping the learning environment relaxed and conversational. If you are preparing for grade exams, I will help you anticipate the technical demands of the board. I explain the theory behind every chord shape and lead line we explore together. My methodology ensures that you understand the mechanics of the instrument as well as the art of the performance.
Getting the fundamentals right early on makes the complex music much easier to manage. I have the right tools to get you where you want to be.
