About Sylvia
I am a fun and compassionate teacher. I love to get creative with my students and help them find their confidence, and reach their greatest potential.
I am also a mother of one sweet baby boy and am enjoying primarily staying home with him in this season of life.

Graduated from the University of North Texas College of Music with a degree in music education, vocal concentration.
Directed honor choirs and taught general music for seven years in Texas. Taught privately for 15 years.
Performed as “Elsa” for 5 years in addition to other roles and choirs.
Licensed to teach music K-12 in Texas public schools and have Masters level certifications in Kodaly and Orff music pedagogy.
I have a passion for early childhood and vocal music as well as guitar, ukulele, piano, and percussion.

Details
I am happy to do split lessons for you get children in the same home ie: 30 min for one and 30 min for the other for $20 each. This is especially appropriate for students under the age of 10 in beginner voice, piano, guitar and ukulele.
