About Raquel
"Vibrato control, harmony singing, and exam preparation define my technical approach. Singing is physically demanding, and I admit that finding the right vocal balance requires constant adjustment. I build lessons around what motivates you, ensuring steady technique and progress.
Having taught for 10 years, I guide students through pitch control, sight singing, and genre styling including pop, classical, and musical theater. I also focus on microphone technique and navigating the head and chest voice transitions. Building performance confidence is my primary objective."

"Many singers struggle with maintaining vocal health during daily practice. Vocal fatigue is common.
I provide recorded warm-up routines shared for daily home practice to keep your instrument safe. These exercises focus on your specific needs, whether you are preparing for NCEA Level 1 to 3 or University Entrance. We balance technical drills with the music you care about, ensuring genuine enjoyment throughout our sessions. The process remains focused until you feel ready for your upcoming performance or assessment, leaving the technical details to settle into place."
