About Shanti
"Standing at the piano, I guide voices toward technical clarity through 6 years of consistent practice. My Master of Music in Music Performance from Massey University provides the foundation for teaching sight singing, tone and resonance, and belting technique. I emphasize pitch control, head and chest voice, and vital vocal health and care.
I balance rigorous warm-up exercises with exam preparation and vibrato control. Incorporating microphone technique helps students gain stage presence. I am a patient and direct teacher. My students sing with confidence."

"Singing requires focus on the physical mechanics of sound. You practice breath support while refining your internal range.
I monitor every note to ensure proper alignment. Direct feedback corrects issues immediately.
We utilize specific exercises to strengthen your projection. The curriculum maps directly to NCEA levels 1-3. These sessions move at a steady pace. Please feel free to use my breathing and warm-up exercise notes."
