About Seth
I'm currently completing my Doctorate in Christian Education and hold a Master's in Christian Education with a concentration in Biblical Education and Apologetics (minor in Genesis Studies), earned in 2011. I've served as a Deacon and as a teaching Elder in Baptist churches across Texas, where much of my ministry has focused on helping believers understand what they believe — and defend it — with real confidence, not just repetition.
I take Scripture seriously: I believe God inspired the biblical writers to communicate with real precision, and I care about clearing away the "common knowledge" that's crept into our understanding of the text from outside sources. My favorite moment in teaching is watching the "light" turn on for a student on a passage or question they thought they already had figured out.

Lessons are built around you — not a fixed syllabus. Whether you want to work through a single Old Testament book cover-to-cover, tackle a short series on a topic, or just bring your toughest theological or apologetics questions, we'll shape the study around what you actually want to learn.
Popular formats:
* A single book, start to finish — e.g., Genesis (including its authorship — it's probably not who you think — and its core message), Job (and its hard, honest wisdom on suffering), or any other Old Testament book you choose
* A short series on a theme (creation, covenant, suffering, prophecy, etc.)
* Open Q&A sessions on theology, apologetics, textual questions, or objections you've heard from skeptics
With doctoral-level study underway alongside years of teaching experience, apologetics runs through everything I teach — I want you to leave not just knowing the text, but able to explain and defend what it says and why it matters.
Lessons are online and suited to all levels — lifelong believers, new Christians, or anyone honestly wrestling with the text.
