About Zara
My teaching approach is all about making guitar fun, friendly, and exciting—especially for beginners who learn best with creativity and encouragement. We start with colorful tabs, simple melodies, and rhythm games that make the guitar feel like a playground. I believe learning works best when students want to play, not just have to. Each lesson is filled with sound pattern recognition, strumming games, and playful listening exercises to build strong musical instincts. Finger muscle warm-ups are introduced in small, fun ways to boost control without the stress. I gently guide students through step-by-step milestones, turning even the tiniest progress into a celebration. For learners who need emotional connection or struggle with rigid lessons, I bring patience and energy to help them feel at ease. I focus on creating a safe space where self-expression and curiosity are welcome. Mistakes are part of the music, and we turn them into learning moments.

With 9 years of experience as a dedicated guitar tutor, I specialize in teaching students of all abilities, including visually impaired and differently-abled learners. My teaching journey has been shaped by a deep belief in the power of music as a universal language. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Music Education with a focus on Guitar, which grounds my instruction in both skill and sensitivity.
Over the years, I’ve developed adaptive teaching methods that cater to diverse learning needs. I use tactile notation systems, audio cue training, and rhythmic development exercises to ensure every student can thrive musically. My lessons emphasize muscle memory, listening skills, and expressive technique.
Rhythm is at the heart of everything I teach it builds confidence and musical independence. I also focus on improvisation, chord shapes, and composition using accessible tools and methods. For differently-abled students, I create custom learning plans that honor their pace and strengths.
