About Shuchi
I've been a Hindi teacher for over 30 years and have worked with students of all ages. Having taught for many years, I've developed a teaching philosophy that helps my students in and out of the classroom. Making them feel at ease is the first step toward ensuring their success, so I begin by getting to know them and fostering a bias/judgment-free environment. I create a safe environment for students to discover their learning styles, and then I work with them to cultivate their passions and help them understand the material. My family comes from the northern Hindi speaking state of Uttar Pradesh. I was born and have lived in New Delhi for most of my life. I try to make my classes enjoyable and stimulating. There will be reading and writing, and discussing and debating involved. But you will move along at a pace and difficulty level decided by you. Individual classes bring out my best work as the one-student-at-a-time model gives me the opportunity to pace with each learner properly, and align with their learning style.

I offer spoken Hindi, and Hindi literature and grammar classes as well as language proficiency training to navigate social situations effortlessly, and prepare for both formal academic and professional exams.
I also offer classes to those who are already Hindi speakers, to enhance their understanding and interpretation of Hindi literature (prose and poetry) and grammar.
