About Ammar

I am an engineer and PhD-qualified multidisciplinary educator, trainer, consultant, and researcher with more than 25 years of experience across technology, design, management, information systems, analytics, and professional training.
In graphic design and creative production, I have worked with a wide range of visual and multimedia projects, including logos, posters, brochures, reports, presentations, visual identities, image-editing work, publication layouts, animated and interactive materials, and professional communication assets. I teach not only the software, but also the visual reasoning and production decisions behind effective work.
My expertise includes Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and broader creative-production workflows, together with experience in 3D design, technical software, programming, and AI. This multidisciplinary background is especially useful when a design project intersects with engineering, research, business, education, data, or technology.
My teaching is structured, patient, practical, and adapted to the learner. I focus on clarity, visual examples, guided practice, problem diagnosis, and helping learners understand what they are doing, why it works, and how to transfer the method to new projects.
I teach in English, French, and Arabic and work with students, researchers, designers, entrepreneurs, and professionals at different levels.

My lessons are designed for learners who want more than software commands. The objective is to help you understand how visual communication works, make stronger design decisions, use professional tools efficiently, and become increasingly independent.

Whether you are a beginner, student, designer, entrepreneur, researcher, or professional, the learning path is adapted to your level, project, field, and goals. We can work from structured fundamentals, a course syllabus, a real project, an existing file, a portfolio piece, or a specific production challenge.

Topics can include:
• Design foundations: visual hierarchy, balance, contrast, alignment, proximity, rhythm, scale, whitespace, consistency, and composition.
• Typography: type classification, hierarchy, pairing, readability, spacing, kerning, tracking, leading, grids, and expressive use of type.
• Colour: colour relationships, contrast, mood, accessibility awareness, RGB/CMYK, spot colours, and production implications.
• Branding and identity: logos, visual systems, consistency, brand applications, and communication across touchpoints.
• Photoshop: image editing, selections, masks, layers, adjustment workflows, retouching, compositing, smart objects, non-destructive editing, mockups, and export.
• Illustrator: vector drawing, paths, Pen tool, shape construction, typography, logos, icons, symbols, patterns, appearance, and scalable artwork.
• InDesign: page architecture, master/parent pages, grids, styles, long documents, tables, images, preflight, packaging, interactive/export options, and print-ready PDFs.
• Layout and editorial design: posters, brochures, reports, books, presentations, research documents, portfolios, and multi-page publications.
• Print and digital production: resolution, file formats, bleed, crop marks, colour modes, linked assets, preflight, packaging, accessibility awareness, and export strategy.
• Responsible AI-assisted creative workflows: Adobe Firefly and relevant generative features for ideation, exploration, editing, and production - with emphasis on human judgment, verification, originality, ethics, and appropriate usage rights.
• Portfolio and real-project development: improve the design, explain the reasoning, diagnose weaknesses, and build repeatable professional workflows.
• Troubleshooting and file rescue: missing fonts, broken links, colour problems, export issues, complex layer structures, layout inconsistencies, and workflow inefficiencies.

How I teach
• Concept first, tool second: you learn why a design decision works, not only where a command is located.
• Live, example-based explanation using your own field or a carefully selected realistic project.
• Screen sharing and guided practice so you perform the workflow rather than passively watch it.
• Progressive difficulty: foundations first, then increasingly complex production problems.
• Constructive critique: I explain what is working, what is not, and how to improve it without erasing your own visual voice.
• Professional workflow habits: file organization, naming, reusable styles, non-destructive methods, export discipline, and efficient iteration.

Important boundary
I provide legitimate teaching, critique, mentoring, and guided project support. I do not complete assessed design work, portfolios, client commissions, or graded projects on a learner’s behalf. For AI-assisted creative work, I emphasize responsible use, disclosure where required, source awareness, and the learner’s own judgment and authorship.
