About Lisha Preethi

I started drawing at the age of 10. It was in the science class of my 5th grade where we are asked to draw the food chain my friend told me it was good which I never once thought how I draw. I just felt like scribble when I draw. All I did in my school days was drawing random stuffs in my notebook without knowing that I'm interest in drawing. Whenever I was bored, I just draw my thoughts in bench, rough papers and even in the class activity notes also I draw my view of windows, classroom, backside of the girl at front, so and so. After I entered 10th grade, I started realising that I could draw well. Many have asked me to draw in their record notes. Without an interest and practice drawing has been a part of my life. In my high school, I started drawing portraits. At that time, I didn't know that there's a thing called shading I did shades just felt like adding a detail to it. When I was in college, I had my first mobile phone and search for work of professional artists. That corrected me with few things. One day my friend asked to draw a couple picture to gift on their wedding. I challenged myself to give my best on my first ever face portrait. Gladly, it came out well. I gained confidence and started doing more. One day at my college, one of my faculty asked me to draw a picture of Malala Yusufzai who has been my inspiration. I challenged myself to draw within 3 hours which has become my favourite peice of work. So I think anyone can become an artist only if they enjoy and love doing it. Let's learn together.

About the lesson

Students will explore basic art knowledges that make them want to become creative. Let us bring the little things of world in papers using pencils by sketching it with the minds of beauty and soulfullness. People call Art is an expression of ideas and emotions through a physical medium. This class builds your talent by bringing those ideas and emotions together. HAPPY LEARNING!
