About Jack
I have a Master's and an Undergraduate degree of the same name in Tropical Disease Biology; giving me extensive knowledge in various fields of biology and statistics.
My studies have covered a very broad range of topics revolving around disease biology and epidemiology, but also extensively statistics, study design, academic writing and research methods.
I also have significant knowledge and experience in human geography, entomology and herpetology stemming from my degrees and respective dissertations.

I offer tutoring in Biology and Statistics for GCSE and A-level, as well as English Literature / Language for GCSE.
For undergraduate students, I can offer more specialized tutoring in fields such as Parasitology, Microbiology, Epidemiology, and Entomology. If you have a specific topic(s) you wish to cover for undergraduate studies please feel free to contact me if you think it is in my area of knowledge.
Typical lessons are 1-2hrs long, but this is variable and depends on the needs of the student in question. Lessons can be online or in person. However, in-person sessions may be dubious to arrange as I travel a lot, so online is recommended.
I have been a tutor for GCSE / A-level students since I began my undergraduate degree (5 years experience), and I am pleased to say all my students have passed with flying colours. I have been a tutor for undergraduates (esp. first and second years) since beginning my MSc (1 year experience).
Lesson structure is tailored to specific students; this can be an overview of an entire exam board specification (usually taking several lessons), to covering specific topics where students struggle. I create and provide general and personalised resources for students at all levels.
