About Lisa
I studied at Harvard with the best and the brightest where I mastered poetry and completed my bachelor's degree at Sarah Lawrence College focusing on early childhood education, psychology and fiction writing. I worked in New York for House Beautiful magazine and as an editor for Arbor House Books. Already an expert award-winning writer, I went back to school for my Master of Fine Arts and began my college teaching career teaching composition, rhetoric and creative writing. I devoted some years to homeschooling two daughters, one of whom got a full scholarship to college and the other recently graduated from law school and passed the bar. In addition I taught K12 for well over a decade and was also a professional reporter during that time. In addition I am well versed in the arts and sciences and physics and like my professors I strive to help students learn to think for themselves and I help bring out the best in students.
