About Maddalena
Hi! I am Maddalena, author and translator. I have a master's degree in children's literature from the University of Glasgow. I like to teach English through a solid study of grammar but also using unconventional materials, such as newspapers, books, films and TV series. In fact, I believe that in order to learn a language one must immerse oneself in the culture that is being studied and find what that really fascinates.

My approach is based on mutual exchange. The lessons will be entirely in English (do not worry, some help in Italian can arrive), short grammar sessions are provided and you will interact with native language texts agreed with the student. The lesson is based on the exchange of knowledge itself between the teacher and the student. It will therefore seem a dialogue, but completely maieutic!
