About Racquel

As a Professor for 20 years I
1. Communicate with Clarity and Purpose
• Use clear, structured language.
• State objectives at the beginning of each lesson.
• Give directions step-by-step and check for understanding.
• Speak (or write) with a calm, steady tone—confidence grows from clarity.

2. I am Well-Prepared and Organized
• Start on time and follow a logical lesson flow.
• Being clear and consistent, formatting in slides, handouts, or videos.
• Have examples ready.

3. Demonstrate Subject Mastery
• Explain why a method works, not just how.
• Use correct but student-friendly language terminology.
• Acknowledge when multiple strategies exist and validate them.

4. Maintain Professional Presence
• Keep visuals uncluttered and readable.
• Avoid filler words and rushed explanations.

5. Apply rules, expectations, and grading criteria consistently.

6. Show Respect and Encourage Growth
• Acknowledge effort, not just correct answers.
• Listen actively and validate student questions.

7. Writing lesson descriptions, use language to guide students through the lesson.
