About Lyra
My teaching methodology for Chess is designed to make learning engaging, practical, and inspiring. I use real-life examples and case studies from famous games to help students understand the strategic concepts and decision-making processes behind each move. I believe in motivating students throughout the learning process, boosting their confidence and helping them stay focused on their goals. I emphasize integrity, encouraging a fair and respectful attitude toward opponents and the game. Flexibility is a key component of my approach; I adapt lessons to meet the individual needs and progress of each student, whether they are beginners or more advanced players. In addition to Chess, I can also teach relevant subjects like Mathematics, Strategy, and Analytical Thinking, ensuring a well-rounded approach that supports the development of key skills both inside and outside the game.

With over 4 years of experience teaching Chess, I have had the privilege of helping 150-200 students from high school and college levels develop their skills. I am passionate about education and believe that Chess is more than just a game—it's a powerful tool for improving critical thinking, strategy, and decision-making. Throughout my career, I've helped students achieve significant milestones, from mastering the fundamentals to winning local tournaments. My goal is to inspire my students, instill confidence, and guide them to success, both on and off the board.
