About Mara

I am a Chemistry tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience and a Master’s degree in Green Chemistry. My passion lies in helping students understand the science behind materials and polymers through clear, structured guidance. I specialize in polymer characterization techniques such as Gel Permeation Chromatography (GPC), Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), and X-ray Diffraction (XRD).
Over the years, I’ve successfully guided students in materials science, chemical engineering, and polymer chemistry to master these analytical methods. I focus on developing a strong grasp of how to determine molecular weight, analyze thermal properties, and evaluate crystallinity. Each session builds both theoretical understanding and practical application skills.
My teaching approach emphasizes how polymer structure connects directly to material properties and performance. I encourage students to think critically about data interpretation and experimental design. Real-world examples and case discussions make the learning process both meaningful and engaging.
