Parker was recommended to me by another tutor as I needed urgent help grasping a very complex statistics subject for my university degree. I was very behind in my studies and was worried I wouldn’t be able to learn the material I had missed. However, much to my delight, Parker was my saving grace! He was so positive and welcoming in our first zoom session and I felt very comfortable. He is extremely patient and always praises me when I (finally) understand a topic. Firstly Parker has a vast knowledge relating to life skills. For someone who studying trying to jugle study work life and social life, he has a wonderful way of being able to keep you calm with anxiety increases, breaking areas in your life down into bite-size where you can easily move forward with life. That's more important than education itself he naturally gives you tools to be resilient with the uncertainties of life. He has been where students have been, so he has a great sense of empathy towards students.

Secondly, he knows what he's talking about when it comes to a range of subjects, from marketing, finance, leadership, management, psychology, data analytics. He can take an assignment read carefully (as assignment requirements are abstract) and interpret back to the student in conversational terms which gives the student confidence.

Parker always asks for buy-in from the students. As tutoring is collaboration he encourages students to give it their best. Lastly, he makes the sessions really fun and relaxed which makes doing assignments not so bad. :)
