About Logan

I’m a Biology tutor with over 4 years of experience and a BA in Biology, passionate about helping students dive deep into the world of virology and infectious diseases. I specialize in guiding learners through complex topics like viral replication cycles, immune system responses to pathogens, and the principles of disease spread. My sessions combine clear explanations with real-world examples to make the science come alive. We explore how viruses hijack host cells, how our bodies fight back, and what happens when things go wrong. I often use current global health events to connect textbook knowledge with reality. From case studies to outbreak modeling, I help students think critically and understand the biology behind disease transmission and prevention. Epidemiology plays a key role in my teaching. We look at how data drives decisions in public health and how biology informs strategies to combat pandemics. I work closely with students interested in careers in healthcare, research, and public health policy. You’ll gain not only subject knowledge but also the confidence to ask questions and analyze information like a scientist. Whether you’re preparing for exams or planning your future, I’m here to support your journey into the science of health and healing.

About the lesson

My teaching approach in Biology is designed to spark curiosity and deepen understanding through critical thinking and evidence-based reasoning. I focus on key topics such as evolutionary biology, natural selection, speciation, and phylogenetics. These subjects help students see the bigger picture of life’s diversity and how all living things are connected. I encourage learners to ask questions, analyze data, and think like scientists.

In my sessions, we go beyond memorization. We explore how traits evolve, how species diverge, and how genetic evidence shapes our understanding of the tree of life. I also include insights from related fields like food chemistry and green chemistry, helping students make interdisciplinary connections.

Visual tools, real-life examples, and interactive discussions are a big part of my teaching. I guide students to develop strong reasoning skills so they can confidently explain complex ideas. Whether for exams, assignments, or personal growth, I tailor support to meet each student’s needs.

I dedicate myself to helping students refine their understanding of life’s grand narrative. With the right guidance, they don’t just learn biology — they learn to think like biologists. Together, we build the skills to explore, question, and appreciate the wonders of life.
