About John
I graduated with a BA in Secondary English Education and my first teaching job was 6th grade Language Arts. Then I pursued my Master's Degree in English (with a focus on rhetoric and writing), earning a 4.0 Graduate school GPA. At the same time I had the opportunity to teach college Expository Writing, and won the Pearson Exemplary Teaching Award! Currently I am a High School English teacher mainly teaching AP English and Dual Credit English.
I'm not your stuffy old English teacher...I am a young guy who loves memes and Tik Toks and I frequently incorporate teenage culture into my teaching.
