I’m a Maths tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience and a BSc in Pure Mathematics. Over the years, I’ve worked with students who want to push their understanding of mathematics beyond the classroom, into areas that power modern technology. My focus is on building strong foundations in concepts that are crucial for artificial intelligence and machine learning.
I guide students through gradient descent and optimization algorithms, showing how they drive learning in neural networks. Together, we explore linear algebra in depth, examining how matrices, vectors, and transformations shape the architecture of intelligent systems. Probability is another major area of my lessons, especially its role in Bayesian inference, where uncertainty becomes a tool rather than a barrier.
Many of my students are aspiring data scientists and AI developers, and I take pride in helping them bridge pure mathematical ideas with practical applications. I make sure complex theories are broken down into intuitive steps, so learners not only solve problems but also understand the bigger picture. My approach balances clarity with curiosity, encouraging students to ask questions and think critically.
