About Addie

My teaching approach focuses on making Maths and related subjects clear, practical, and enjoyable for students. I teach Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Calculus, and Statistics to high school and college students. My lessons combine step-by-step explanations, real-life examples, and interactive exercises to help students grasp concepts deeply. I emphasise building strong foundations so that students can confidently solve problems, perform well in exams, and apply their knowledge in real-world situations. I encourage students to ask questions, share ideas, and clarify doubts without hesitation. This creates a supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable exploring new topics. Integrity is central to my approach — I provide honest feedback, track progress carefully, and ensure that students genuinely understand the material rather than just memorising solutions. I also value cultural sensitivity and respect the diverse backgrounds of my students. I adapt my teaching style to match each learner’s pace and preferences, making lessons inclusive and effective. My aim is not only to improve academic performance but also to develop problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and a positive attitude towards learning. I strive to make Maths a subject students enjoy and feel confident in while achieving their goals.

About the lesson

I am a dedicated Maths tutor with 8 years of experience teaching high school and college students. I have successfully taught around 250 learners, helping them understand Arithmetic, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus with clarity and confidence. My goal is to make Maths simple and less stressful for every student I work with. My teaching philosophy is based on patience, clear communication, and strong concept-building. I use real-life examples, step-by-step explanations, and plenty of practice to help students understand difficult topics. I adapt my methods to each student’s learning style, making sure they feel supported and comfortable asking questions. Over the years, many of my students have improved their grades, gained confidence, and performed better in exams. I take pride in helping students overcome challenges and develop a positive attitude towards Maths. My aim is to guide every student towards steady progress and long-term success.
