About Cade
Maths is full of surprises, and in my lessons, we explore it with curiosity and joy. I create a fun, supportive space where learners feel safe to ask questions and try new ideas. We dive into logic puzzles, game theory, and recreational mathematics, discovering patterns and strategies along the way.
Everyday life becomes a maths playground we’ll spot numbers in art, music, nature, and even daily decisions. Lessons are personalised to match each student’s pace, strengths, and interests, so learning is always engaging and meaningful.

I have been teaching Mathematics for over seven years, supported by a Master’s degree in Computational Mathematics. My journey as a tutor has always been about breaking down barriers to learning maths, especially for students who never considered themselves maths people. I take a holistic approach that focuses on big ideas and deep conceptual understanding rather than overwhelming computation.
I often use real-world analogies, like budgeting, architecture, or even storytelling, to show how abstract concepts come alive. Historical context is another key part of my teaching; I love tracing how great thinkers shaped the theories we use today.
Much of my work has been with liberal arts students, humanities scholars, and learners who once struggled with maths anxiety. I understand how intimidating advanced concepts can appear, so I work carefully to replace fear with curiosity.
