About Sophia

Hello! My name is Sophia, and I’m your English, Phonics, and EAL teacher. I love helping students discover the joy of learning English and gain confidence in reading, writing, and speaking. I want to teach because I enjoy making lessons fun, interactive, and meaningful, and I believe every student can succeed with the right support and encouragement. Together, we’ll make learning English exciting and rewarding.

About the lesson

My approach to private tutoring is student-centered, patient, and interactive. I focus on understanding each learner’s unique strengths and challenges, creating lessons that are engaging, practical, and enjoyable. I combine clear explanations with games, stories, and hands-on activities to make learning English, phonics, and EAL skills fun and meaningful. I aim to build confidence as well as competence, encouraging students to take ownership of their learning while progressing at a pace that suits them.
