About Philipp
As a Master student (B.Sc. Economics, M.Sc. Marketing Analytics & GMAT), I bring lots of years of practical knowledge to the subject of statistics, as well as the related programs (ex. SPSS, RStudio, Sawtooth).
As a person who, especially in the field of mathematics and statistics at both school and university level, would have liked to see better, more customized teaching methods, I place great emphasis on making this learning experience as enjoyable and frustration-free as possible. Accordingly, I will try to be as responsive to you as possible.

What matters is not where you start - but that you move in the intended direction! As a tutor, I teach you the tools to be able to solve tasks systematically - without frustration or disappointment. I am a patient teacher who is very empathetic to typical difficulties with statistics & math due to personal experience of past struggles.
As your tutor, I take a pragmatic approach: we do a brief inventory for the desired subject areas (ex. hypothesis testing), we sit down together to work on tasks, and I show you schemes, tips, and tricks on how to skillfully and comfortably arrive at the correct solution. In the interest of making the course as useful and enjoyable as possible, I will keep the level of theory as low as possible.

Perfect! Philipp nimmt sich die Zeit alles in Ruhe zu erklären und vor allem auf eine verständliche Weise. Ich habe mit ihm zusammen SPSS Aufgaben bearbeitet und hatte endlich das Gefühl, ich weiß worauf es ankommen wird. 10/10 would recommend!
