About Adrian
I'm deeply passionate about biology and conservation, having earned an honors degree in Marine Biology, with plans to attend vet school! Through field courses and independent research, I've cultivated a profound curiosity for the biological world. As a former biology instructor at a summer camp and a mentor to younger students, I've honed my ability to make complex concepts accessible to many different learning styles. My approach emphasizes understanding over memorization, employing diagrams and hands-on activities to foster comprehension. I measure success by students' genuine understanding and their ability to convey concepts confidently. I aim to inspire a love for biology, learning, and exploration in every student I teach.

I use many different learning techniques including drawings and flashcards, focusing on understanding the processes and basics rather than memorization. My lessons will be primarily structured around areas of uncertainty in the subject at hand, and helping students to be more confident in their understanding. I am happy to help people of any age, from elementary school to undergraduate students!
