About Sophie
I am originally from California and attended University in Washington State at the University of Puget Sound. I then worked in the Bahamas for two years at a research facility that specializes on marine predator ecology specifically, sharks and rays, and promotes marine conservation. In 2019 I moved to Plymouth to obtain my Masters degree at the University of Plymouth. I will be starting a PhD at the University of the Azores in February. Although my program is based in Portugal I will be based in the UK during the winter months.
