About Shuohan
I’m an undergraduate student at the University of Southern California studying Arts and Design. Originally, I’m from Xi’an, China—a historically rich city best known for the Terracotta Army.
I have over two years of experience in language tutoring, where I supported students in Chinese language courses at Wesleyan University. Through this experience, I developed strong skills in helping students improve their pronunciation, vocabulary, and writing, while making lessons engaging and approachable.
As both an international student and a tutor, I understand the challenges of learning a new language and aim to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students can build confidence and communicate naturally in Mandarin.

Perfect! I am sure you will agree that those of us who are asked to write many recommendations, can sometimes find the task quite tedious and even boring. However, when one is asked to write about a truly life-changing individual, the task becomes almost pleasurable.
