About Jianian (Anna)
My name is Jianian Zhang (you can call me Anna!) I come from Beijing, China but I have been studying in the UK for six years. I am passionate about tutoring because it genuinely brings me joy, especially seeing the growth of my tutees over time. I am super approachable, patient, and caring. I am fascinated by the area of education and wish to pursue a career in education. I also love getting to know new people, becoming good friends, and forming real personal connections with them.

I teach Mandarin at all levels to non-native speakers, from young children and adults. I can offer a personalised methodology to meet your personal needs! This means the content, the length and the timing of the lessons are all negotiable.
I have two years of teaching experience in Mandarin GCSE and have recently been tutoring Mandarin at my university. I also took Chinese GCSE myself in the UK and obtained A* (97%). I have been studying in the UK for 6 years which means I am fluent in English.
Bonus: I received offers from LSE, KCL, UCL and Bristol University to study for undergraduate degree last year and I obtained A*A*A*A*in A-Levels (History, Geography, Maths, and Economics). I am happy to give out free advice on university application and A Level / GCSE studies!
