About Mia
Hello! I'm Mia, a native Chinese speaker from Taiwan. I've lived in London for six years. Before moving to the UK to chase my modeling dreams, I actually taught myself English! During my time in London, I worked as a Chinese nanny, an exchange student, and a Chinese tutor, so I really understand the challenges and joys of learning a new language! I just moved to Italy and I'm currently teaching myself Italian.
Although I don't have formal classroom teaching experience, I've developed a passion and skill for teaching Chinese through real-life interactions. While living in London, I worked as a Chinese nanny and an exchange student, often helping kids learn Chinese in fun, natural, and immersive ways. I've also assisted friends and language learners with Chinese conversation practice, vocabulary building, and understanding Taiwanese and Asian culture. These experiences have made me appreciate the power of personalized one-on-one learning.
