About Lee

Hi, I’m Liz. I’m a native speaker of Mandarin and currently, I’m living in Shenzhen China.

At college, I majored in English, so I can speak English fluently. Also, I got National Mandarin Proficiency Test Certificates, Grade A. And I teach Chinese for students from all over the world online. Some of them were very interested in Chinese and Chinese culture, so my Chinese teaching journey began. I was regarded as a caring teacher with great patience. And now, I have 5000+ Chinese teaching experience. I can make Chinese learning much easier for you, and help you build confidence in learning Chinese.

I’m an active person with great patience and I’m also a good listener. And I really love teaching foreigners Chinese, it’s really a potential career for me.

As a teacher, I think Chinese is not that difficult to learn, what you need is an experienced teacher. That’s what I believe after teaching for more than 3 years.

I offer Standard Chinese, Oral Chinese, and Chinese Characters classes. And all the lessons were offered according to their Chinese level and their learning goal. Generally speaking, before the first class, I ask my students about their age, nationality, learning goal, interest, etc. for better preparation for their lessons.

And what’s more important, I can teach students in a relaxed and fun way, especially for some difficult points. I know very well the difficulties for foreign students. For example, phonetically, the four tones, pinyin, and grammar, Ba sentences are the most difficult parts. For the 4 tones, I made up a simple story “I go to see a dentist ” to help easy understanding and remember. And it’s proved to be very successful for all my students. In my class, students will never get bored and they will learn a lot after each class.

About the lesson

I have 5000+ hours of Chinese teaching experience. My students range from 4yrs to 55yrs from all over the world. I offer Standard Chinese, Oral Chinese and Chinese Characters class. And of course, your lessons will be customized according to your age, interest, job, learning etc.

In my class, you'll learn what you're expected to learn or even more, you'll get to know more about Chinese culture and latest popular Chinese words and phrases.

Ideal students level: beginners and elementary students

Duration:
Trial Lesson: 30 minutes
Regular Lesson: 60 minutes

Class Procedure with a New Student:
1. Introducing Myself, Getting to know each other.
2. Warmup - mainly a song
3. New Lesson
4. Practice or Games etc.
5. Summary
6. Homework

For my regular students, I started teaching like this:

1. Warmup - mainly a song or a short paragraph, according to their Chinese Level
2. Review - Check how well they learned in the last lesson
3. Lead-in - lead in what we'll learn today
4. New Class - Conduct new lessons
5. Practice - Do some exercise, related to the new lesson.
6. Summary - Review what we've learned this time
7. Homework - Assign homework
