With over 10 years of experience teaching Malaysian Sign Language (BIM) to hearing students, I bring rich, practical experience and knowledge to every lesson. Friendly, approachable, and passionate, I help beginners gain confidence in their signing and enjoy the learning process. I teach Malaysian Sign Language (BIM) through clear, visual, and supportive lessons, focusing on real communication rather than just memorising signs. As an experienced Deaf instructor, I help beginners understand better about BIM, including correct facial expressions & body movements, so students can sign with confidence.
These 1-hour lessons are suitable for complete beginners from age 12 onwards. I offer a structured beginner pathway for learners who want steady progress in a calm, encouraging environment.
No prior experience is needed—just curiosity and willingness to learn.

Perfect! A very friendly and patient BIM tutor, James creates a relaxed learning environment that makes me feel relaxed throughout the lesson. Every session is smooth, informative & engaging, and I learnt a lot from him. Definitely a great BIM teacher to have.

This is an online course, designed to help you progress steadily from complete beginner to confident signing at the basic level. Lessons are 1 hour each, and I recommend starting with the 10-hour package to get the full structured experience and make real progress faster.
Your first 30-minute session is free, where I’ll introduce the course structure, share a taster of curated BIM signs, and give an overview of the Malaysian Deaf community. I look forward to guiding you on your BIM journey!
