About Jade
I am a qualified teacher with 7 years of teaching experience and 5 years of private tutoring experience. I currently work as a specialist SEND teacher and have experience supporting children from EYFS through to Year 6.
I became a teacher because I found school and learning difficult myself. I know what it feels like when something does not seem to click, and that experience has shaped the teacher I am today.
I am patient, friendly and encouraging, and I genuinely love helping children discover that they are more capable than they think. For me, the best part of teaching is seeing a child grow in confidence, enjoy learning and have that moment when they realise, “I can actually do this!”

My maths lessons are designed around your child, their needs, interests and current level of confidence. I teach Primary Maths from EYFS to Year 6, including support with the Year 4 MTC and Year 6 SATs.
I use practical activities, visual resources and clear, simple explanations to make maths easier to understand and more enjoyable. If one approach does not click, we try another. Lessons are adapted to your child’s pace, with repetition, movement and brain breaks when needed.
As a qualified teacher with specialist SEND experience, I understand that some children need a different approach to learning. My aim is to take away the pressure, build confidence and help your child experience that brilliant moment when maths finally starts to make sense.
