About Derricka
I am majoring in Environmental Technology. I had a college scholarship. I look at intelligence as a skill that you can pass on to help others be successful in life. Tutoring is something I do not mind because I love learning and I look at it as a mutual interaction; the student is learning something, and I am doing something I enjoy which is feeding someone knowledge so they can be successful.

I will be a good tutor because I have the ability to explain the material to my student by correlating the material with something that is familiar to them, either by interest or by daily routine. I am also aware how a student should be talked to if they need assistance due to a learning disability. When I tutor people, I tutor them by the learning skill that is best for them mentally. I believe that everyone learns at their own pace learning disability or no learning disability.
