About Noelle
I am a dedicated violin tutor with 11 years of teaching experience and a strong record of teaching around 300 students from beginner to intermediate levels, including high school students, college learners, and adults. My teaching philosophy is based on understanding each student’s needs and guiding them step by step with patience and clear communication.
I focus on building strong fundamentals such as posture, finger positioning, bow control, and sound clarity, as these are essential for long-term success. I make sure to explain every concept in a simple way so students can easily understand and apply it during practice.
My lessons include a mix of exercises, scales, and songs to keep students engaged and motivated. One of my key achievements is helping students gain confidence in their playing and perform comfortably in front of others. I aim to create a supportive learning environment where students feel encouraged and motivated to improve.

I approach violin teaching with a focus on communication, adaptability, and practical engagement. I customise lessons to match each student’s abilities, learning style, and goals, ensuring they understand techniques and progress at a comfortable pace.
I teach core skills such as posture, bowing, fingering, intonation, tone production, phrasing, and expressive playing, while encouraging creativity and musical interpretation. Lessons are enriched with real-life examples such as learning favourite songs, performing in small settings, and exploring music’s emotional impact.
Alongside violin, I include supporting subjects like music theory, rhythm exercises, ear training, sight-reading, and basic piano to build a strong foundation in musicianship. My goal is to create a structured, motivating, and enjoyable learning environment.
