About Yuliya
I am a Russian mother tongue and I graduated from the Higher School for Interpreters and Translators of Trieste. I worked at the Wall Street English School as a Personal Tutor and English teacher. From there I discovered my passion for teaching, even if my professional path led me in another direction. During the last few years I started working in the foreign commercial office, but in my spare time I continued to teach Russian and English to both adults and children. I am currently on standby from my main job and would like to spend more time teaching using the free time I have.

First of all, I focus on understanding the student's goal and what is the motivation that drives him to learn English, since this will be the main lever that will guide the student in the learning path. My method is based on conversation and oral comprehension, and through that I will introduce various concepts of grammar. This methodology on the contrary why? Because first of all we first learned our mother tongue to speak and then we learned grammar; and also because in my teaching experience I have found that for many people too much grammar taught at school, and zero conversation, blocks them from trying to communicate in the language, for fear of making mistakes. For university students studying Russian I can offer all the support for exam preparation, because I know that very often learning Russian at university is a difficult path. All lessons are obviously customizable according to your needs and your level of knowledge of the language.
