I always like to begin my lessons with a ‘do now’ activity to ease ourselves into the flow of the lesson. For example, for my 11+ students, I will do a mini test on comprehension techniques. Then, I will go onto the main body of the lesson, whether that be practising exam technique, understanding the text, or structuring top-grade answers. I have a plethora of model answers that I could share. After the lesson is over, I love to set short pieces of homework to consolidate our learning from the lesson and prepare them for the next lessons. For example, for my GCSE students, I will set a past paper and I will mark it when they are done.

I’m currently doing my GCSEs and 2 months of tuition with Madeeha boosted my grade from a 6 to an 8 in my mocks. I’m beyond grateful and I hope I achieve these grades in the real thing. She helped me walk into every English language exam confident. I highly recommend her for struggling students.
