About Grace
I am a passionate piano tutor with 9 years of experience and a strong love for teaching students of all ages. I have worked with around 150–200 learners, including high school students, college students, and elderly adults who want to enjoy music at their own pace. My teaching style is simple, warm, and supportive, helping students feel relaxed and confident as they learn. One of my proudest milestones has been helping students prepare for school programmes, recitals, and personal goals, where many achieved wonderful progress. I believe that everyone can learn music with the right guidance and encouragement. My mission is to help students build strong skills while also enjoying the beauty of each lesson. Watching them grow into confident musicians continues to inspire my passion for education.

My teaching approach focuses on real-life understanding, strong motivation, problem-solving, integrity, and flexibility. I want students to feel that music is something they can connect to daily. I use examples from everyday life—like comparing rhythm to footsteps or using emotional situations to explain musical expression. These examples make piano lessons simple and meaningful. I include case studies from real musicians and performances. We study how professionals handle mistakes, practise difficult passages, and prepare for shows. This helps students develop problem-solving skills they can use both in music and outside of it. Motivation is at the centre of my teaching style. I help students stay inspired with small goals, progress check-ins, and positive feedback. I want every student to feel proud of their growth. Integrity guides my communication. I am truthful about what needs improvement but always kind and supportive. Students can trust that my guidance is honest and helpful. Flexibility is essential. No two students learn the same way, so I adapt my lessons to match their learning style—whether they learn through listening, reading, repetition, or hands-on practice. I also teach related subjects like music theory, scales, technique exercises, and performance preparation. My goal is to help students become independent, confident musicians who enjoy the learning process.
