About Maia
I am currently an undergraduate student at the London School of Economics (LSE), studying Environment and Sustainable Development. I completed A Levels in History, Economics and Politics alongside an EPQ, and achieved an average GCSE grade of 8.4 across 10 subjects.
Alongside my own academic success, I received four university offers and was invited to interview at Cambridge. I also have experience supporting other students with their personal statements under the new application format, helping them plan and structure strong applications successfully.

I offer personalised tutoring sessions, typically 60 minutes long, which can be adjusted to suit each student’s needs. Every lesson is carefully planned and tailored to the individual, ensuring that content is delivered in a way that works best for them. I have had great success with applications under the new UCAS format, and am able to advise students on how to present the best possible application to highly competitive institutions.
With over two years of experience tutoring students across a range of subjects, I adapt my teaching style based on how each student engages with the material. My focus is on building confidence, strengthening understanding, and helping every student achieve their best possible results.
