About Abby
The best tutors I ever had were my friends in the year above me. Not only did they have an up-to-date understanding of the syllabus having done the exam just a year or two before me, but they were able to explain concepts in a way I could easily understand. Because of my age, I am able to connect better with my students and can serve as a 'big sister' role model so my students often feel comfortable with coming to me for help. Many GCSE and A level students also are looking to make decisions about their next stage in education, whether it's choosing A level subjects of personal statement help - this, I can also provide free of charge as well as tutoring.
A bit about my experience as a tutor: I have 2 years of experience tutoring Maths and 11+ to students from ages 4 to 18. Tutoring is something I enjoy and what I'm good at, so I am confident in my ability to help your teen get top grades!

Currently I study Accounting & Finance at London School of Economics. I achieved A* in A Level Maths (over 90% in all papers), 9 at GCSE Maths and an A (highest grade) at FSMQ. I have 2 years experience tutoring and am DBS checked.
Typical length of a lesson is 1 hour and will be held online.
A lesson would usually be flexible depending on the student's needs and preferences. It could involve guided practice on whiteboards, past paper questions and going through any homework the student has.
All students of all year groups are welcome.
