About Prema
I am a policy/public affairs professional hailing from Southern California, USA. I have previously tutored junior/high school level students in English and have also marked student essays for English Honors class.
One of my most memorable moments as a tutor was when one of my students, who had been failing his English class, excitedly approached me at the end of the academic year to tell me that he not only passed the class, but was able to secure a B+ (not an easy feat, considering where we started our journey).
That is ultimately what I strive for: to bring forth meaningful growth in my students' academic career.
