About Audrey
Hi, I'm Audrey, an LSE-educated tutor and university admissions consultant with over 10 years of experience helping students reach their academic goals.
I am French, Canadian, and British, and have lived and studied across Europe, North America, the Middle East, and Asia, so I have a genuine understanding of the international school experience and what it means to navigate education across different systems and cultures. I completed the International Baccalaureate myself, scoring 44/45 and graduating as High School Valedictorian, before going on to study at the London School of Economics where I completed both my undergraduate and postgraduate degrees.
My specialist areas are IB tutoring (English Literature, Global Politics, Economics, French Literature, and Biology) and UK university admissions consulting, with particular expertise in applications to Russell Group universities for humanities, social science, and politics-related degrees. I also bring professional writing and editing experience from my time at the Financial Times, which informs everything I do when helping students craft compelling personal statements.
I'm bilingual in English and French, and passionate about helping young people find their voice, academically and beyond. My lessons are tailored, thoughtful, and built around each student's individual goals. Whether you're trying to crack a tricky IB concept, strengthen your extended essay, or write a personal statement that truly stands out, I'd love to help.

My approach to tutoring
My lessons are conversational, analytical, and tailored to each student. I focus on building genuine understanding: helping students think critically, construct strong arguments, and communicate ideas clearly. For IB subjects especially, this means going beyond the syllabus to develop the kind of independent thinking that examiners reward at HL.
Sessions are typically one hour, though this can flex depending on the student's needs and the material being covered.
Who I work with
Though I can be flexible, I specialise in students in the last two years of secondary school, as well as students preparing UK university applications to Russell Group institutions.
IB Subject Expertise
IB English Literature (SL/HL)
IB Global Politics (SL/HL)
IB Economics (SL/HL)
IB French Literature (SL/HL)
IB Biology (SL)
Theory of Knowledge (TOK)
Extended Essay (EE)
I studied the IB myself, scoring 44/45 and graduating as High School Valedictorian, so I know the programme from the inside, including the Extended Essay, TOK, and the particular demands of each subject's assessment criteria.
I am bilingual in English and French.
UK University Admissions Consulting
I also support students applying to Russell Group universities with personal statement writing and application strategy. My own background (a BSc and MSc from LSE) means I have a strong insider understanding of what competitive applications look like, particularly for International Relations, Politics, Government, Economics, PPE, and related degrees.
Qualifications & Experience
I have been tutoring since 2015 (10+ years), and have worked for educational institutions including Crimson Education and MyTutor. I hold a BSc in International Relations and an MSc in Media, Communications and Development, both from the London School of Economics (LSE). I also bring professional writing and editing experience from my time as a Content Editor at the Financial Times, so when it comes to personal statements, I know exactly what polished, persuasive writing looks like.
