About Joseph
I believe that philosophy is a subject which everyone is capable of engaging with: it is a discipline with such a rich history in part because we can make so much progress through discussion alone. I want to teach because I love engaging with philosophical ideas through discussing them. Gaining an understanding of some of the key concepts in philosophy will allow you to contribute in original ways, making for a great lesson and a promising start to a journey into philosophy.

I can guide students through the A-level philosophy curriculum, providing worksheets and further discussion of the topics. I can also teach a general history of political theory, engaging with the work of Plato, Aristotle, Hobbes, Locke, Marx, and others. My personal interests include the philosophy of justice and the moral philosophy of Kant.
