About Rosalind
I have been swimming since I was very young, basically knew before I knew how to walk. I started competition swimming when I was 10 and went to 2 Master's Nationals at my college. I was Captain and was a varsity CIF finalist during high school for 3 years since my sophomore year was during quarantine. I've coached at French Valley Swim Academy for 2 summers ranging from 4 months old (I know, crazy!) to 44 years old; I teach survival swimming to make sure that one can have fun in the water and not have to worry parents or worry themselves. I coached at my swim team as well for stroke work to get kids ready for the swim team.

I teach beginner swimmers for survival swimming. To not drown as early as the ages of 1 year old. They learn floating and sideways turning.
Intermediate: Once they can swim float swim, I teach them the basics of stroke work, freestyle, backstroke, butterfly, then breaststroke. They will learn how to improve their kick, which is a big part of competitive swimming.
Advanced: After learning the 4 strokes, they will learn the techniques of how to swim fast and efficiently. I'll teach diving, flip turns, and bucket/cross-over turns.
My goal is to teach, and help to learn, and have fun.
15 min lesons (non-swimmers)
30 min lessons (safe-swimmers)
1 hour lessons (stroke-swimmers)

Perfect! Rosalind has been amazing working with our 14 year old son to improve his form for swim team. She is organized, dedicated, professional & very sweet. She also keeps track of his progress & creates lesson plans.
