About Lanny

I am an undergraduate at the University of Melbourne with a VCE ATAR of 99+ and 45+ raw Chinese second language study score (which scales above 50!) Chinese can be a very hard subject but once you get the tips and tricks, all that it takes is to put in the effort. My job will be to give you all the pieces you need and teach you how to put it together into high scoring marks, as I have just come out of VCE, I understand the current study design back to front and am pretty confident in understanding what the assessors are looking for. My teaching is catered to you personally and if there are any questions please don't hesitate to reach out.:)

About the lesson

VCE Chinese is a super high scaling subject, but can be very hard to students who don't really know what the assessors are looking for, and many Chinese teachers at school aren't really helpful in being specific on this area. Don't worry, I have plenty of experience regarding studying Chinese, and having just gone through the whole VCE process myself, I have plenty of helpful resources to ensure that you do well on your Chinese exams! This includes writing, reading, oral, and listening. For students looking to learn or practise Chinese, I offer oral conversation practises as well!

Honestly one of the best tutors I have met. Lanny is professional in everything she does and really takes time out of her day to plan each session for each student so that she makes sure every student is focusing on their own personal problems that need to be improved. I have never felt uncomfortable learning with her and it doesn't ever feel like I'm being put on the spot like with some of my other tutors. Really recommend!!!
