About Kyle

I'm a high school graduate who has always loved to teach and coach students of all ages. I have won many academic awards, most are math related, some science related, and a few are related to Language classes or speech classes.

Here is the full(ish) list of potentially relevant awards that I have won:
Last year I was awarded the MVP award in fencing, which I received not only for being the best performing fencer on the team, but also for being a student coach, where I coached for six hours every week for the entire school year. I have also won various medals in fencing, some of them first place, won best Physics Student Award last year, and have made the Head of School's list (All A honor roll) six times since the start of my Junior year, and made the Dean's list (AB honor roll) twice since then. I have received quite a few ribbons and multiple medals from different Latin competitions, some of them first place, and have been awarded the cum laude award by the American Classical League. I have placed 4th in Speech & Debate tournaments, which may not sound great, but that is the best my school did done all year. This year I was awarded best AP Physics I student, best Economics student, and Outstanding AP Calculus BC Student. I also won 2nd in Best of Texas 12th grade mathematics, 2nd in Best of Texas 2A mathematics, 3rd in TAPPS Advanced Math, 5th in TAPPS Original Oratory (so I’m not just a math one trick pony), and the President’s Education Award. This year I was also accepted into the cum laude society, with an average weighted GPA of 4.2. I have also received the NASA High school Aerospace Scholars winner award. HAS was a year-long extracurricular program through NASA that ended with all participants being split into teams and competing. The top two of thirteen teams, decided by NASA employees, were awarded the HAS Winner Award. I have also recently been accepted into the WTAMU Attebury Honors Program.

About the lesson

I have tutored and coached a lot through middle school and high school, although I have never been employed as a tutor, I still have seven years experience in tutoring and coaching elementary kids up to college students, and sometimes even older. I'm passionate and knowledgeable in math, up to Calculus 2. I'm also very good at and interested in Physics and AP Physics I because I think it's a great mix of what I love about math, and what I love about science.
